mrsroadrunner.com has been online since 2010! Lots of Photographs as well as Blog Articles have been published since the first day online! Photographs of The High Desert and Eastern Oregon!

HI THERE, welcome to my blog site

This is my writing , blog portion of my site! Here you can read my observations of that which I photograph. I like my photography to tell a story on their own, with some words thrown in.

Spending time with that which I photograph I like to be as accurate as I can with the information within my writing. I have been writing these since 2010 along with my photography so I do have quite a collection of different articles.

Couple Of My Posts

Wild Gray Hairstreak Butterfly

Butterflies are fascinating creatures big and small! Watching them flutter from this place or that place is quite the hobby for many people. I am no different! On this day as I was out tending the flowers I noticed this little one fluttering here and there and thought what the hay , lets get some photographs! That I did.

Painted Lady Butterfly Laying Eggs

This is the Painted Lady Butterfly. Several species of this butterfly, this is the species we have here at home. As you can see the Hollyhock is budding out and will flower later on in the season.

Poppy Flower Blooming

This is one species of Poppy Flowers we grow. Big as my hand, perhaps larger and two colors from this group are blooming right now!

Smith Rock Oregon

Smith Rock Oregon. This is another HUGE draw when in Central Oregon! The iron man competition was held here, and who knows what else! It is a rock climbers place to be.

Praying Mantis Eating a Ant

The Praying Mantis is a interesting creature in which she is boss! I understand where the phrase, " If momma is not happy, no one is happy", comes from when I photograph the Praying Mantis!

Coneflower Blooms

Hope your weekend went well! Meet the Coneflower and visitor from the photographs from July 25 2014 I am working on this morning.

lake billy chinook 001

This is Lake Billy Chinook. This is one of the many physical photographs I have at my physical photography site that is now available for purchase.

Lake Billy Chinook is found in the town of Culver Oregon which is the next town south of us. One of my favorite canyons to go to . You can see where Culver is on the map below.
