Mrsroadrunner Photography

mrsroadrunner.com has been online since 2010! Lots of Photographs as well as Blog Articles have been published since the first day online! Photographs of The High Desert and Eastern Oregon!

HI THERE, welcome to my blog site

This is my writing , blog portion of my site! Here you can read my observations of that which I photograph. I like my photography to tell a story on their own, with some words thrown in.

Spending time with that which I photograph I like to be as accurate as I can with the information within my writing. I have been writing these since 2010 along with my photography so I do have quite a collection of different articles.

Couple Of My Posts

Cheerful Sunflowers

The cold weather is upon us and I need some color!! Being avid gardeners I thought I would share some color of the Sunflowers from our 2014 garden.

Mount Jefferson Oregon

Meet Mount. Jefferson on the Cascade Mountain range here in Oregon! Mount Jefferson just happens to also be our counties name sake, Jefferson County Oregon.

Coneflower Blooms

Hope your weekend went well! Meet the Coneflower and visitor from the photographs from July 25 2014 I am working on this morning.

Swallowtail Butterflies and The Zinnia Flowers

The swallowtail Butterfly is a larger species of butterfly we have here on our small plot of land. It is about that time to plant for some of us, some flowers have already bloomed or are growing. Seeding time for us here in the high desert of Oregon is getting near and I can hardly wait!!

Praying Mantis Eating a Ant

The Praying Mantis is a interesting creature in which she is boss! I understand where the phrase, " If momma is not happy, no one is happy", comes from when I photograph the Praying Mantis!

lake billy chinook 001

This is Lake Billy Chinook. This is one of the many physical photographs I have at my physical photography site that is now available for purchase.

Lake Billy Chinook is found in the town of Culver Oregon which is the next town south of us. One of my favorite canyons to go to . You can see where Culver is on the map below.
